Frequently Asked Questions
Sheets are easier to produce and pack flat as a custom, branded print run, and they still wrap perfectly well for most gift sizes without the bulk of a full roll. It also means every sheet is a clean, unused piece rather than measuring and cutting off a length from a roll each time.
It gives you faint fold and measurement lines to work from underneath the paper, making it easier to line up straight folds and consistent corners as you wrap. It's only visible on the inside once wrapped, so it doesn't affect how the front design looks to whoever receives the gift.
A2 comfortably wraps most standard gift boxes and clothing sized items on its own. For something larger or an oddly shaped item, you may need to use two sheets together, taping or overlapping them, rather than relying on a single A3 sheet stretching further than it realistically can.
115gsm is the sturdier of the two and holds up better around corners, edges and awkward shapes that put more strain on the paper as you fold and tuck it. 90gsm is lighter and easier to crease neatly, which suits simpler, boxier gifts where you're less likely to be pulling the paper tight around odd angles.
Double-sided is mainly used for that grid pattern on the reverse rather than a second decorative design, since the outward-facing side is what people see once it's wrapped. It's worth thinking of the back print as a wrapping aid rather than a second visible design, unless you specifically want a reversible sheet with two different looks.
