Frequently Asked Questions
Dye-sublimation works by turning the ink into a gas that bonds directly into the fabric fibres, rather than sitting on top as a surface layer the way standard printing does. That's why the colours stay sharp and don't crack, peel or fade the way a printed-on graphic can after repeated use and washing.
Yes, the cover is designed to be interchangeable, so if your branding changes or the graphic wears out, you can order a new fabric cover on its own rather than replacing the whole stand. The aluminium frame is reusable across however many different graphics you end up needing over time.
The curved, tubular shape gives a more distinctive, sculptural look than a flat straight backdrop, which helps it stand out among the usual rectangular displays at a busy exhibition. It's more of a style choice than a functional one, so it comes down to whether you want something that looks a bit different from the standard stand shape.
The fabric can be recycled alongside other textiles rather than needing to go to landfill, since it's a genuine fabric material rather than a plastic laminated sheet. It's worth checking what textile recycling is available locally, since it isn't usually something collected in a standard household recycling bin.
Light shining from behind the stand passes straight through the stretched fabric far more than light hitting it from the front, which can make the internal frame and structure visible as a silhouette. Front or ambient lighting doesn't cause the same issue, so it's really backlighting specifically that's worth avoiding rather than bright lighting in general.
