Frequently Asked Questions

It's designed to drape over the neck of the bottle rather than stick to it, typically through a cut-out slot or loop shape in the tag itself that slips over and sits snugly around the neck. That means no adhesive residue on the bottle and it's easy to remove or swap without damaging the label underneath.

65 x 140mm is a good general fit for standard wine and beverage bottles. 65 x 160mm gives a bit more length, which can suit taller or wider necked bottles, like certain olive oil or spirit bottles, where a shorter tag might sit awkwardly. It's worth checking against your actual bottle before ordering, since neck shapes vary a fair bit between products.

It's handy for adding something that changes batch to batch, like a vintage year, a batch number, or a handwritten personal note for a gift bottle, rather than reprinting the whole tag every time a small detail changes. It gives you a fixed printed design with room for a quick handwritten addition.

Yes, an unlaminated writable tag isn't moisture resistant, so a chilled bottle that's sweating with condensation can cause the paper to soften or any handwriting to smudge. If your bottles are regularly served cold, a laminated finish would hold up much better than the writable unlaminated option.
