R10 is a recognised slip resistance rating used for flooring and floor graphics, indicating a moderate level of grip suitable for general indoor areas with regular foot traffic. It's a genuine tested standard rather than just a marketing term, so it gives a real benchmark for how much slip resistance to expect compared to an unrated, smooth graphic.
The adhesive needs full, even contact with a smooth surface to bond properly, so a textured or uneven floor leaves gaps underneath the sticker where it can't stick down fully. That leads to lifting edges and a much shorter lifespan than you'd get on a flat, smooth floor.
Adhesive doesn't bond as reliably in cold conditions, so applying it below around 10 degrees risks a weaker initial stick that's more likely to lift or peel later. If the space is cold, warming it up beforehand, or waiting for milder conditions, gives a much more reliable, lasting application.
Removable means it can be taken up cleanly without damaging the floor underneath when the time comes, rather than a fixed timeframe for how long it's meant to last. In practice it can stay down for as long as it's needed, from a short promotional period to many months, as long as the floor sees reasonable rather than extreme levels of traffic and cleaning.
A circular sticker has no corners, which tend to be the first place any floor graphic starts lifting under repeated foot traffic, so it generally holds up marginally better over time than a square with sharper corner points. In everyday use the difference is fairly minor, both shapes are designed to withstand regular walking traffic.
