How to Prepare Artwork for Creased Leaflets

Yes, these arrive scored along the fold lines but not actually folded shut, so a light crease is already pressed in and folding along it takes barely any effort. It's not the same as starting from a completely flat, unscored sheet, the hard part of getting a clean, straight fold is already done for you.
Flat sheets store more compactly and stack more evenly than folded ones, which can be useful if you're storing a large quantity or want to fold them on demand rather than all at once. Some businesses also prefer folding as part of setting up for an event, keeping the stock flat and tidy until it's actually needed.
Digital printing is quicker to set up and more cost effective for smaller runs, since there's no plate making involved. Litho, or offset printing, needs printing plates made first, which adds a bit of lead time, but it tends to work out cheaper per unit once you're ordering in very large volumes, so it suits bigger runs more than small or urgent ones.
The paper, fold styles and artwork setup are much the same, the real difference is that this one arrives flat and pre-creased for you to fold, while the standard folded leaflets product comes to you already folded and ready to use straight out of the box.
Six panels gives you more individual sections to work with, which suits content like a structured price list or a longer piece of storytelling that benefits from being broken into clear stages as someone unfolds it. If you don't need that many sections, the crease fold or Z fold options here give you a simpler layout with fewer panels.
